A Delicious Twist on Classic Comfort Food

A cheesy and savory turkey bacon casserole that provides a delicious twist on the classic comfort food.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 6 slices turkey bacon
  • 2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the turkey and turkey bacon until browned.
  3. In a large pot, cook macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  4. In a bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup, milk, cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Add turkey, bacon, and macaroni to the mixture and stir until well combined.
  6. Transfer to a greased baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicy kick, add red pepper flakes.
  • Can substitute ground turkey with ground chicken or beef.
