Angel Chicken and Rice Casserole

Angel Chicken and Rice Casserole is a delightful, easy-to-make comfort dish that pleases everyone at the table.

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces chicken breasts
  • 1 cup long-grain white rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 package dry onion soup mix
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 8 ounces sour cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the rice, chicken broth, and onion soup mix together and spread it in the bottom of a greased casserole dish.
  3. Place the chicken breasts on top of the rice mixture.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup and sour cream, then pour it over the chicken.
  5. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 1 hour.
  6. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through.
