  • 2 cups butternut squash, peeled and cubed
  • 3 cups apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the butternut squash and apples.
  3. In another bowl, mix the brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Pour over the squash and apple mixture, then stir to combine.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  5. In the same bowl, mix together the melted butter, oats, and walnuts. Sprinkle over the top of the squash and apple mixture.
