  • 1 cup chopped turkey bacon
  • 2 cups bread cubes
  • 1 cup celery, chopped
  • 1 cup onion, diced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon dried sage
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy.
  3. Add the celery and onion to the skillet and sauté until softened.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the bread cubes, turkey bacon, celery, onion, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  5. Slowly stir in the chicken broth until the mixture is moist but not soggy.
  6. Transfer the stuffing to a greased baking dish and cover with foil.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian version, substitute turkey bacon with mushrooms.
  • Stuffing can be prepared a day in advance and baked before serving.
