  • 8 ounces elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup buffalo sauce
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken and buffalo sauce.
  3. In a pot over medium heat, melt the cream cheese and stir in the milk until smooth.
  4. Add garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper; mix well.
  5. Stir in the cheddar cheese until melted and well blended.
  6. Combine cooked macaroni with the buffalo chicken mixture and cheese sauce; stir until thoroughly combined.
  7. Transfer the mac and cheese to a baking dish and top with additional cheddar cheese if desired.
  8. Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes or until bubbly.
  9. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

  • For a spicier version, add more buffalo sauce or fresh jalapeños.
