Cheesesteak Tortellini in Rich Provolone Sauce

A delicious twist on traditional cheesesteak made easy with tortellini and a rich provolone sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 package cheese tortellini
  • 1 pound sliced steak
  • 1 cup provolone cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the tortellini according to package instructions.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté onions, garlic, and peppers until soft.
  3. Add the sliced steak to the skillet and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream and provolone cheese until melted and combined.
  5. Add the cooked tortellini into the skillet, tossing to coat.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add some Italian seasoning to the sauce.
  • Serve with crusty bread for dipping.
