Cheesy Ranch Potatoes and Smoked Sausage

A delightful dish combining cheesy flavors and smoked sausage with ranch seasoning.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds baby potatoes
  • 1 pound smoked sausage
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash and cut the baby potatoes into halves or quarters.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the potatoes, smoked sausage, olive oil, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Toss everything together until well coated.
  5. Spread the mixture on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and golden brown.
  7. In the last 5 minutes of baking, sprinkle the cheddar cheese on top and return to the oven until melted.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For additional flavor, add sliced bell peppers or onions to the mix.
  • Feel free to use your favorite cheese.
