Chicken with Buttered Noodles

A delightful dish combining tender chicken with buttery noodles, ideal for any meal.

  • 2 cups wide egg noodles
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
  3. Add the chicken breasts, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden brown on both sides and fully cooked, about 6-7 minutes per side.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  5. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  6. Add the drained noodles and remaining butter to the skillet, tossing to combine.
  7. Serve the noodles topped with sliced chicken and garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

  • This dish can easily be customized with different vegetables or sauces to suit your taste.
