- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 pound turkey bacon, chopped
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 package puff pastry sheets
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet, combine the ground beef, turkey bacon, onion, and garlic. Cook over medium heat until the meat is browned and the onion is translucent.
- Add Worcestershire sauce, thyme, salt, and pepper to the mixture. Stir well and remove from heat.
- Roll out the puff pastry sheets and cut them into rectangles.
- Place a spoonful of the meat mixture onto each pastry rectangle.
- Fold the pastry over and seal the edges with a fork.
- Place the rolls on a baking sheet and brush with beaten egg.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
- For a spicy kick, add chili flakes to the meat mixture.
