  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup dry red wine
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Season the beef roast with salt and pepper, then sear it on all sides until browned.
  3. Add sliced onions and garlic, sautéing until the onions are translucent.
  4. Pour in the beef broth, red wine, and Worcestershire sauce.
