Creamy Lemon Garlic Skillet Chicken

This creamy lemon garlic skillet chicken is a delicious and easy dish that’s even better than takeout!

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, and add them to the skillet. Cook until golden brown on both sides and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about a minute.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream, chicken broth, lemon juice, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a simmer.
  5. Return chicken to the skillet and simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
