A delightful dish combining crispy rice with spicy salmon, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sushi rice
  • 1 pound salmon fillet
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon black sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. Cook the rice according to the package instructions and let it cool.
  3. In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, sriracha, and sesame oil.
  4. Slice the salmon into small cubes and marinate it in the sauce for about 10 minutes.
  5. In a frying pan, heat a bit of oil and form the cooled rice into patties, frying until crispy on both sides.
  6. Arrange the crispy rice patties on a plate and top with the spicy salmon, avocado slices, green onions, and black sesame seeds.

Notes

  • For extra crunch, use Panko breadcrumbs when frying the rice patties.
  • Feel free to adjust the spiciness by modifying the amount of sriracha.
