  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 slices cooked turkey bacon
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt.
  2. Soak the brioche slices in the egg mixture for about 10 minutes on each side.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the soaked brioche until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  4. In a separate pan, caramelize brown sugar over medium-low heat until melted and bubbly; add cooked turkey bacon to coat.
  5. Serve the French toast topped with caramelized turkey bacon and drizzle with the remaining cream mixture if desired.

Notes

  • For a sweeter taste, add more sugar to the cream mixture.
  • Feel free to substitute regular bacon for turkey bacon if preferred.
