  • 4 slices thick cut brioche bread
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 8 slices turkey bacon

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, milk, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and salt.
  2. Pour the mixture over the brioche bread slices and allow to soak for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and place the soaked bread in a baking dish.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown, then sprinkle with brown sugar and broil for 2-3 minutes to caramelize.
  5. Meanwhile, cook turkey bacon in a skillet until crispy.
  6. Serve the French toast warm, topped with crispy turkey bacon.
