- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon.
- In another bowl, whisk together milk, melted butter, and egg.
- Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients until just mixed.
- In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and cinnamon for the filling.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan and sprinkle with half of the cinnamon filling.
- Add the remaining batter on top and sprinkle the rest of the filling over.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
