  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
  5. Fill the donut pan and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  6. Let cool, then prepare the crème brûlée topping with heavy cream and powdered sugar.
  7. Top donuts with the cream mixture and sprinkle with granulated sugar.
  8. Use a kitchen torch to caramelize the sugar on top.
