Easy Gingerbread Tiramisu

This Easy Gingerbread Tiramisu is a delightful twist on the classic Italian dessert, perfect for the festive season.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee
  • 1/2 cup coffee liqueur
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 8 ounces mascarpone cheese
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 12 gingerbread cookies
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the brewed coffee and coffee liqueur.
  2. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then fold in mascarpone, sugar, vanilla, ginger, and cinnamon.
  3. Quickly dip each gingerbread cookie into the coffee mixture and layer them in the serving dish.
  4. Spread half the mascarpone mixture over the cookies.
  5. Repeat another layer of dipped cookies and top with the remaining mascarpone mixture.
  6. Dust with cocoa powder and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
