Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add the flour, salt, and olive oil. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes.
  3. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
  4. Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf. Place in a greased loaf pan and let it rise for another 30 minutes.
  5. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool before slicing.
