A comforting casserole that combines the rich flavors of French onion soup with tender chicken and orzo pasta.

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup grated cheese (Gruyere or Swiss)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, add onions and cook until caramelized.
  3. In a large pot, combine orzo, shredded chicken, caramelized onions, beef broth, thyme, and Worcestershire sauce.
  4. Mix well and season with salt and pepper.
