Gingerbread Latte Mousse Domes

A delicious and festive dessert combining the flavors of gingerbread and coffee in a creamy mousse.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup brewed coffee
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 packet unflavored gelatin
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine coffee, sugar, and molasses; stir until sugar dissolves.
  2. In another bowl, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  3. In a small pan, bloom gelatin in water; heat and stir until dissolved.
  4. Mix the gelatin into the coffee mixture.
  5. Fold the coffee mixture into the whipped cream until no streaks remain.
  6. Pour into dome molds and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.

Notes

  • For an extra kick, add a shot of espresso.
  • Garnish with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
