Gyoza Soup

Ingredients

  • 12 pieces gyoza dumplings
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup bok choy, chopped
  • 1 carrot, sliced
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili oil (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add garlic and ginger, cooking until fragrant.
  2. Add the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  3. Stir in the soy sauce, bok choy, and carrots. Let cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Gently place the gyoza into the soup and cook for another 5-7 minutes.
  5. Garnish with green onions and adjust seasoning with chili oil if desired.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a splash of rice vinegar before serving.
  • Experiment with different vegetables based on your preference.
