Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 4 cups water
  • 4 tea bags (black or green tea)
  • 1/2 cup sugar (adjust to taste)

  • Mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine blueberries and 1 cup of water. Bring to a boil and then simmer for about 10 minutes until blueberries are soft.
  2. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove the solids, pressing down to extract as much juice as possible.
  3. In a large pitcher, combine the blueberry juice, remaining 3 cups of water, sugar, and tea bags.
  4. Let it steep for about 5-7 minutes, then remove the tea bags.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  6. Serve over ice with fresh mint leaves for garnish.

Notes

  • Adjust sugar according to your sweetness preference.
  • For a less sweet version, reduce the sugar or use a sugar substitute.
