  • 2 and 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit until bubbly.
  2. Add flour, salt, and olive oil to the mixture. Mix until combined.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled.
  5. Shape the dough into a loaf and place it in a greased bread pan.
  6. Let the loaf rise again until it puffs up, about 30 minutes.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 25-30 minutes.
  8. Cool on a wire rack before slicing.
