  • 8 ounces elbow macaroni
  • 1 pound cooked chicken, shredded
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup buffalo sauce
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook the macaroni according to package directions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for about 1 minute.
  3. Slowly whisk in the milk and continue to whisk until the mixture is smooth and thickened.
  4. Add the cheddar cheese, buffalo sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
  5. Add the cooked macaroni, shredded chicken, and turkey bacon; stir until evenly coated.
  6. Transfer to a baking dish and bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 20 minutes, or until bubbly.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of buffalo sauce according to your heat preference.
  • This recipe can also be made with shredded rotisserie chicken for convenience.
