- 8 ounces elbow macaroni
- 1 pound cooked chicken, shredded
- 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and chopped
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup buffalo sauce
- 2 cups milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Cook the macaroni according to package directions; drain and set aside.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for about 1 minute.
- Slowly whisk in the milk and continue to whisk until the mixture is smooth and thickened.
- Add the cheddar cheese, buffalo sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
- Add the cooked macaroni, shredded chicken, and turkey bacon; stir until evenly coated.
- Transfer to a baking dish and bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 20 minutes, or until bubbly.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of buffalo sauce according to your heat preference.
- This recipe can also be made with shredded rotisserie chicken for convenience.
