Lemon Tiramisu Recipe

This Lemon Tiramisu Recipe combines the classic Italian dessert with a bright lemon flavor for a refreshing and easy twist.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 1 package ladyfingers
  • 1 cup brewed espresso, cooled
  • 2 tablespoons lemon liqueur (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, sugar, lemon juice, and lemon zest until smooth.
  2. Dip each ladyfinger into the cooled espresso and layer them in the bottom of a dish.
  3. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  4. Add another layer of dipped ladyfingers followed by the remaining mascarpone mixture.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  • For a stronger lemon flavor, increase lemon zest in the filling.
  • Try adding a bit of lemon curd on top for extra sweetness.
