Orange Creamsicle Ice Cream Cake

  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup crushed vanilla wafers
  • 1/2 cup orange zest

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  2. In another bowl, mix orange juice, sugar, and vanilla extract until the sugar is dissolved.
  3. Fold the orange mixture into the whipped cream gently.
  4. Layer the crushed vanilla wafers at the bottom of a cake pan.
  5. Pour half of the orange cream mixture over the layers and repeat.
  6. Freeze for at least 4 hours or until set.

Notes

  • For a more intense orange flavor, add more orange zest.
