  • 4 large potatoes
  • 1/2 cup turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup onion, diced
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Peel and dice the potatoes.
  2. In a large pot, cook turkey bacon until crispy.
  3. Add onion, celery, and garlic; sauté until vegetables are soft.
  4. Add potatoes and chicken broth; bring to a boil, then reduce heat.
  5. Simmer until potatoes are tender, about 20 minutes.
  6. Stir in heavy cream, salt, pepper, and paprika; cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  7. Use a potato masher to mash some of the potatoes for a creamy texture.
  8. Serve topped with green onions and cheddar cheese.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a dash of Worcestershire sauce.
