Pumpkin Bread Pudding

A rich and comforting dessert that combines the flavors of pumpkin and bread, perfect for fall.

  • 2 cups cubed bread
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 2 cups milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup raisins (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, pumpkin pie spice, and salt.
  3. Add the cubed bread and raisins (if using) to the mixture, stirring until the bread is well coated.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a knife inserted comes out clean.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes
