Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and pumpkin pie spice.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  5. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Let cool before cutting into squares and serving.
