  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine the pumpkin, granulated sugar, brown sugar, butter, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix well.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
  7. Let cool completely before frosting.
  8. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese with powdered sugar until creamy and smooth.
  9. Frost the cooled cookies with the cream cheese frosting.
