- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, mix the melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients, mixing until just blended.
- In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and cinnamon for the swirl filling.
- Fill each muffin cup halfway with batter, sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar mixture, then top with the remaining batter.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- For the glaze, mix powdered sugar and milk until smooth and drizzle on top of cooled muffins.
