- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup milk
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup raspberry jam
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 egg, beaten
- In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm milk and let it sit for 5 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
- Add the yeast mixture, softened butter, and egg to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth. Cover and let rise for 1 hour.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle.
- Spread raspberry jam evenly over the dough and drizzle lemon juice on top.
- Roll the dough tightly and cut into equal pieces.
- Place the rolls in a baking dish and let them rise for an additional 30 minutes.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes.
