  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup raspberry jam
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 egg, beaten

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm milk and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
  3. Add the yeast mixture, softened butter, and egg to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth. Cover and let rise for 1 hour.
  5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle.
  6. Spread raspberry jam evenly over the dough and drizzle lemon juice on top.
  7. Roll the dough tightly and cut into equal pieces.
  8. Place the rolls in a baking dish and let them rise for an additional 30 minutes.
  9. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes.
  10. Let cool and serve.

Notes

  • For a sweeter treat, sprinkle powdered sugar on top before serving.
  • These rolls can be stored in an airtight container for up to three days.
