  • 1 cup cream cheese frosting

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Stir in vanilla extract and red food coloring.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto baking sheets lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are set.
  9. Remove from oven and let cool.
  10. Once cooled, spread cream cheese frosting on the bottom of one cookie and sandwich it with another.
