2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups granulated sugar
1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup vegetable oil
4 large eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1/3 cup milk
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and greas a 9×13-inch baking pan.
In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
Add buttermilk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla to the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan.
In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and milk until smooth. Spoon dollops of the cream cheese mixture over the first layer of batter.
Top with the remaining batter and swirl gently with a knife.
Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Allow to cool before serving.
