  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs

  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine flour, powdered sugar, and salt.
  3. Add the cubed butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Press the mixture into the bottom of a tart pan and bake for 15 minutes.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together granulated sugar, eggs, lemon juice, lemon zest, and baking powder.
  6. Pour the lemon mixture into the baked crust.
  7. Bake for an additional 20-25 minutes until set.
  8. Let cool completely, then refrigerate before serving.
